HI EVERYONE, 30 YEARS SURE FLEW BY. MY WIFE AND I RAISED 3 CHILDREN AND WILL HAVE 2 GRANDCHILDREN BY THE END OF SEPT. 03.

Hey to everybody....

My wife, Barbara (Morton, class of 74), and I are now in Charleston, MO after 3 years in Searcy, AR. I retired from the St. Joe County Police in '97 and went back to college. I'm working with a church in Charleston and we left our son and daughter at Harding University in Searcy. Shaun graduates from college this spring & is trying to gather support for mission work in New Zealand.

Memories

My favorite memories are from track & cross-country. One year the track coach took me to the Goshen Relays to gain experience & I placed for a ribbon. I really enjoyed the friendships & the fun we had in track & cross-country.

Memories: The sporting events I seem to remember well and hanging out at Barnaby's on Friday or Saturday evenings.

Info: After graduation from IU I taught 2 years in Lafayette IN and in 1979 moved to the Atlanta area. I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel both stateside and overseas. There are too many places to see and not enough time or money! Besides travel, I enjoy reading and golf.

Memories: I have two very vivid high school memories. The first is having a stack of chairs I was pushing crash to the gym floor during a pep rally and the other is Mr. Early mispronouncing my name as "Michael" when he handed me my diploma.

I've been in St. Louis for over 20 years. I'm retired and live with my husband and 17-year-old daughter. My parents still live on Yoder Street and I visit them every summer. I hope the class of 1973 plans a 30 year reunion. I would love to see everyone.

I have been living in Colorado since 1972. I enjoy scuba, camping, skiing, golf, etc. and coaching my sons in basketball, baseball and football.

It's wonderful to look back and remember. Time passes much too quickly and our memories become precious to us . Look forward to hearing from anyone who remembers me (be patient with me, my memory isn't what it used to be). Go Tigers!
Have not been to a class reunion yet, keep me informed when the next one is. If my calculations are right, it will be the 30th class reunion next year.

My husband David Dillon (class of 72) and I live in Granger...we are the empty nesters now. Daughter married and son in College. We are "practicing retiring" by spending a month in Florida in the winters:) I love planning and decorating for weddings! I chaired the 20th reunion and looking forward to the 30th -it will be fun to see everyone!

I left So. Bend after freshman year and moved to Phoenix. I now live on Maui enjoying the sand and the surf. Never did care much for the Midwest winters. Feel free to look me up the next time you travel this far west. Sorry, I only have enough beds for us full time occupants!! Aloha!

Hi everyone. This site is great. Brought back so many memories. I cannot wait for the reunion. Looking forward to seeing old classmates.

FYI (For Your Information (whomever may read this)) you may sleep extremely well at night knowing that I, along with 350,000 other military in the Air Force, continue to guard your skies night and day. Yep, after graduating from "The Blue Zoo" (Air Force Academy) in Colorado, have been in the military a total of 23 years and 20 days, as of 20 June 00. Still going strong.
If anyone cares to contact me, I'll pimp Dave Stout over and ask him to be a point of contact, mainly because I float around quite a bit (bein' in the military and all). I vow to keep him informed where I am and how I can be contacted. THANKS, DAVE for finding me (I don't know how you do it, but you are DAMN good at it!!) and thanks for being such a great friend--then, and now.

Adieu for now. Looking forward to hearing from some of you and maybe having a 27th or 28th reunion since there apparently wasn't a 25th.

I missed the 25th year reunion. I went to every one we had. Hope we have a 30th. I'll help plan it.
My wife Cindy DeCook Hoffer, class of '75 has been visiting the website for some time and we are going to attend the reunion this summer. I was disappointed to hear that our class did not have a 25th reunion. If any one from JHS wants to reach us, we are on the e-mail list

Memories: Great swim teams, Friday night football games, Basketball sectionals

Hello to everyone since the 10 year reunion! Looking forward to the 30 year. Please contact for good dates due to NASCAR & Indy Car dates throughout the summer. Can't wait to see everyone. Vicki Call me!

The site looks great. Good to be able to hang on to our past. Living in Mishawaka. Three children: Kristen age 21, Jeff will be a Senior at MHS, Matt will be a Freshman at MHS. Keep up the good work, will visit often. Looking forward to seeing all on Aug. 1st and 2nd

Terrific idea. I'd like to find out where Debbie Grady is if anyone knows.

Thank you to Dave Stout for finding me after all these years!! It's great to reconnect with this part of my life! After 17 years in Mississippi, now in Cincinnati area with husband and 16 yr. old son.

Hi everyone, what a great thing web sites are (says one who also creates them for a living.) Just seeing all of your faces brings to me a large smile. I've been living in Colorado at the base of Pikes Peak since 1976, and got married about five years ago. All things considered, life is good! In my spare time I help save rocky mountain bighorn sheep and still write poetry on occasion. I'm thrilled you are all having another reunion! Keep up the good work, great site!

After 25 years of marriage to a wonderful wife from West Virginia, 3 sons, a daughter and 25 years of Naval Service the days of AJHS seems so very far away. A military career prevented me from ever attending a reunion...would have been interesting! Now on a second career in Federal employment in Dallas-Fort Worth area after retiring from the Navy. It would be great to hear from some old friends! I think I still know the words to our fight song...too many pep rallies and playing the thing up and down the football field!

"What a great idea!!! " The class of '73 didn't have a 25th reunion and it was disappointing. Good for your class. It is a lot of work but also a lot of fun. Thanks for your effort!

Great to find this site. I moved to Texas my senior year but have always considered myself in my heart of hearts a JHS graduate. Am interested in attending upcoming reunion, all school or otherwise. Will the class of '73 be having a 30th in 2003?

I teach archaeology and anthropology at Notre Dame. My main hobby is music.
While visiting South Bend, I ran into a former AJHS graduate and she sent me the information on your web site. What a great idea!

My 2-year old son, Michael, keeps me busy. He is the joy of my life! Living in Maryland with husband George.

I think I was one of the first to visit your site. The evolution is truly fabulous! Love the water over Jessup in the pool!  If I can help in any way please don't hesitate to ask. You're putting a lot of work into this - its much appreciated but please don't feel like you have to do it all.

Memories: Being from the country I thought it was fun hanging out with friends in the Gilmer Park and Marshall neighborhoods. How cool to be able to walk to shopping!

This is a great way to look up old friends. I guess the weight machine we helped finance is still there. Can the song "Smile a little smile for me, Rose Marie" be added to the music list? No 25th Reunion was disappointing. Have to look into that. Jackson High was fun. I enjoy the South Bend Tribune stories about Coach Morningstar.

T-U-V

Will we be having Boone's Farm Apple wine and Dark Eyes Cherry vodka at the reunion? Yikes. Some things would be ok to forget!

Web site looks good. Been a long time.......

Moved to Kansas City in 1980 and haven't had a chance to keep up with many classmates. Tjanks for the site at least I can keep in touch now

Thanks to Stout for the phone call. Cool site.I've been on the "left coast" near San Francisco for over 9 years. So Floyds flying bombers protecting our skies... there's a scary thought :)

I don't get back to South Bend very much any more, most of my family moved away years ago. I missed the first reunion we had and have been curious if we would ever have another one. Thanks to all of you who are putting this together, I look forward to seeing everyone this August.

Memories
Early morning marching band practice, art club, the final assembly with the assistant principal telling us how glad he was that we were all leaving AJHS!

Hobbies:
Art, quilting, fiber art, horseback riding, gardening and going back to school

I've always had fond memories of the High School days in South Bend. It was a great place to live, and learn. Somehow it sparked my desire to travel and visit other places of wonder in the country. Landed here in Oregon 20+ years ago and living happily ever after!

Hello to all. Thanks to the reunion folks who located me and the fine job they are doing.

Play a little golf. Coach my kids in Little League baseball and softball. Trying to finish the addition to our house. Trying to survive raising four kids. Played on a National Champion 16" softball team with Greg Ettl. I pitched the championship game. Work too much. Enjoy E-mailing with old JHSers and really enjoy telling Penn High School people that we NEVER lost to them in football!!!!

Just tooling around the web...ran across a "classmates" site that wants $30 a year for membership and I started thinking, "As cheap and ubiquitous as websites are these days, wonder if AJHS has one?" Guess I was right! Cheers, BY
