Class of 1967

# Alumni Class of 1967: 124

First Class

Juniors Look Ahead

"This year the leadership of Jackson has been placed upon a class composed of willing students with various backgrounds and alma maters. The Junior Class is a melting pot of the area's most eager and energetic eleventh graders, because the Juniors came by choice, leaving behind past loyalties to Greene or Riley to help make Jackson a complete school.

Their readiness to join in on school projects was displayed in their presence at the Student Council leaf-raking project and their organization of the carefully planned prom."

"The first class to wear the Jackson High School Ring, the first class to carry Jackson High School diplomas."

I enjoyed going through the site. It brought back a lot of good memories. I can't help but feel sad that I only attended for 3 years and in my senior year I moved away. I would have felt very proud to have graduated from Jackson. I still consider it my high school.

Dear Jackson High,
I am sitting in my office with Tom Mayer reminiscing of the old days when Tom mentioned AJHS had a web site. What a great trip down memory lane!! The author of this has done a great job. Keep in touch. I will pass this on to another class of '67 grad, David Mies. Any reunion info?

Please feel free to contact me, Go Tigers!

Great job on this website - I'm from the 1st graduating class of 1967. Heard of this site from another alumnus, Karl Matz. Would love to hear from others in the class - need to see your name, not just email address - I don't open them if I don't know the email address! Have a great day & God bless you!

I hope that I hear from some of you.

This looks Great. I didn't know anyone remembered Jackson High School. I was in the first graduating class. I remember how much fun it was selecting the song and mascot etc.

WOW, found this site by accident while researching something else on the web. Great to see the old school is still remembered. Browsing the site sure brought back a lot of memories. I am looking forward to re-kindling old friendships with the 1st JHS class

As I recall all boy and all girl homerooms, exploding cherry bombs just before lunch, the "Hoyer Association Method, senior guys humming the fight song cause we didn't know the words, smokin' in the boys room, bad basketball, junior prom in the school cafeteria, awful yearbook picture, "peeling out" in the parking lot, it makes me grin!

I thought money slipped through my fingers, but time is even worse. I will pass this along to my friends.

Thanks for the memories tonight. I enjoyed looking at the old school. I plan on contacting several other classmates and telling them about the website. Keep up the good work!

(Foreign Exchange student)  Does anyone remember me, Lino Tornero? I was an "Exchange Student", 1966-67. I was a guest of the Tolle family.

This is a really great website! Brings back a lot of old memories of some really fun times. HI.. to everybody from the class of 1967!!

First BB Homecoming Queen

 -   It was important to us ('75) that we recognize the first class as we tried to close this chapter of our lives as well as write the last chapter of a book filled with stories, memories, traditions and friendship of the eight classes that we followed into JHS History

Special Guest returns for the Last  Homecoming

To do that,  we invited the first  basketball homecoming queen at JHS, Joyce Smith Buysee. to be our guest for the last basketball homecoming game.
